About Us
The Intelligent Computing Lab, led by Dr. Zahraa Marafie, focuses on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT)
to develop innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges. Our mission is to advance research and create applications that enhance
daily life through intelligent systems.
Completed Project
AutoCoach: Developed as part of Dr. Marafie's Ph.D. research under the supervision of Prof. Kwei-Jay Lin,
AutoCoach is an intelligent driver behavior feedback system that utilizes AI and IoT technologies to analyze and personalize
driver feedback, aiming to improve road safety through tailored alerts and analytics.
Ongoing Projects
HeatWatch: A real-time heat exhaustion detection system designed to monitor environmental conditions and provide timely
alerts to prevent heat-related illnesses.
CarPark: A smart parking assistant application that leverages IoT sensors and AI algorithms to optimize parking space
utilization and assist drivers in finding available spots efficiently.
Business Data Analysis for Real Estate Optimization: A project focused on analyzing business data to enhance operations
within the real estate sector, utilizing AI-driven insights for better decision-making.
